I believe this plate was owned by a Japanese American, but it looks Chinese to me. It's been in our family since the 1930s. Except for the flaws made during painting and firing there are no cracks or chips. Its perfect. I would really like to know how old it is and where it may have come from. Its about seventeen inches in diameter.
Victorian End Tables
Description:
I have two genuine Mahogany Victorian end tables with marble tops which were made in Italy. They are hand carved and in really good condition. We believe them to be over one hundred years old. The marble has an "ITALY" stamp underneath and on top of the table, but underneath the marble top there is a "VICTORIAN" stamp and a label stating genuine mahogany with a issued number. Table is an oval shape: 34" long, 22" wide and 27 5/8" tall.
