Description:

This blue and white platter with a drawing of a turkey is 15 1/2 inches long by 12 1/2 inches wide.  It is in good condition.  We believe it was manufactured in Bavaria in the early 1900’s.  The inscription on the bottom reads "Ridgeways Bavaria 10-08."

This book is called “If I Die in a Combat Zone Box Me Up and Ship Me Home” by Tim O'Brien.  The publisher is Delacorte Press/Seymour Lawrence 1973-Third Printing.  It has the following inscription: “To Terry, Peace, Tim O'Brien." I’ve seen second printings going for $1,000 and up and wondered what the worth of my copy might be.
