This hand painted vase in shades of green with hints of yellow is 7’ tall and 17’ around at its fullest part. The design sweeps around the vase showing a bouquet of daisies and ending with one single daisy on the back. The neck is decorated with gilding as is the rim around the top. There are a few signs of use on the gold neck and around the opening. The bottom of the vase is plain white milk glass. The vase is unmarked as to a maker, but it looks German, French or Bavarian to me.
This is a 5 1/2" x 7" black and white studio photo of Shirley Temple which is autographed in GREEN INK as such, "To Muriel, Love Shirley Temple." There is a small 20th Century Fox logo in the lower right hand corner. The photo is of the "thicker" cardboard style (not a flimsy photo). I found it in an envelope of playbills, trip schedules, photos etc. collected by a woman named Muriel Barbra Gray. On the back of the Shirley Temple photo Mrs. Gray wrote "Received Nov 14th, 1939 Tuesday" and "11 years old April 23, 1939.
